About

Remedios Designs started of with us dabbling in drawings and personal art. This soon extended into an obsession with design, illustration and motion graphics which led us to study at the National Institute Of  Design. We honed our skills in Animation and Film Design (Delwyn) and Strategic Design Management(Gavin). On our way we experienced the changing trends in design and animation which is reflected in our work.

Delwyn:

Delwyn’s interest in art started when he was 4 years old and visited the Bandra fair. He was totally fascinated with the giant wheel which was his 1st drawing .Having missed out on admissions at Sir J.J School of Art, he completed his Bachelor Of Mass Media from St Andrews College, topping the college and majoring in Advertising. He then joined the National Institute of Design to pursue Animation & film design. He has made short films which have won awards and be recognized the world over and has been an active member in the community, spending time helping a charitable causes and beautifying the society.

Gavin:

Gavin as luck would have it made it to Sir J.J School of Applied Art at a time when he wanted to learn Architecture. However enjoying the course he chose to stick around and learn more about design. After college he joined Steve and Barry’s a MNC who had a retail chain in the US, where he designed T-shirts and apparel graphics for a wide range of clients. In his spare time he tried his hand freelancing and wanted to learn more about the business involved in design. This led to him joining the National Institute of Design to do Strategic Design Management. He is currently learning how design can be used as a strategic tool for any business and the role design plays in developing our society.

This blog is an outlet for us to share our experiences with the design community and others looking to see how design fits in their company. We hope to interact  and collaborate with like minded people who have a similar interest and passion for design.

Thank you for visiting our blog. Hope you like what you see.
