Sand Animation is a new and a strikingly innovative medium of animation whose potential is yet to be fully exploited. It involves manually moving the grains of sand over a light box and according to the intensity of the sand different gradations of light and dark can be witnessed. In a nutshell, it is all about bringing SAND to life and creating the most vivid and creative designs.

The Show was conducted by Delwyn Jude Remedios – Post Graduation student from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, who’s currently working on his diploma film in the traditional 2D medium

It included:
1. The screening of “Chai Break”
2. The making of the film
3. A live demonstration
4. Question and Answer session
